"I had difficulty eating enough protein and balanced meals. I didn't have hunger cues for most of the day either. However, I was so hungry every day from 3-7pm and would eat endlessly. After a few sessions with Ari, I learned to eat a high protein breakfast with much more balanced snacks and meals and I feel more in control of my food intake and even with my emotions since i'm no longer so hangry. Plus my hunger cues are back! I am able to maintain my power output for longer and therefore can spend more time shredding and having fun. 3 hour rides no longer destroy me like they used to! "My main problem with nutrition was coming up with the proper macros and the variety of foods. I've been cycling for about 5 years and was doing decent job with my performance but I couldn't drop weight, was diagnosed with high blood pressure and suffered from lupus. I thought it was all a function of calories in and calories out. "I was told by my physician I was perimenopausal. 2 years into the pandemic literally I felt deflated and so discouraged, trying to keep up with running and weightlifting.
